A "green corridor" has been established in Georgia for trucks transporting perishable goods

There has been a so-called "green corridor" on the Georgian border for trucks selling agricultural products to EEU countries since May 2022. This means that truck drivers will be able to access Georgian territory more quickly if they submit the necessary documents.

When transporting perishable products, the truck driver must present the relevant paperwork certifying the carriage of the items at the border crossing point. This allows truck drivers to avoid standing in long lines. Trucks can leave Georgia in 24–36 hours thanks to the procedure.
